A timeless classic cocktail that has been around for over 150 years, the aptly named Old Fashioned is made with Whiskey, sugar and bitters. The Whitebox recipe uses demerara sugar which combined with gum arabic to create their in-house gomme syrup, they add that to whiskey that they age in virgin oak casks and bitters infused with cherry wood. The result is a rich and indulgent old fashioned that is better than most bars make.

A spicy margarita, sometimes known as a picante is a vibrant twist on the traditional cocktail, blending fresh lime juice, tequila, and a kick of spicy and herbaceous chilli. For our take on the classic, we infused our tequila with a unique blend of whole chillis - jalape�o, ancho, bell pepper and coriander. The result is a perfect balance of sour, sweet and fiery.

The cocktail was created in 1920s Paris by an American called Erskine Gwynne, publisher of the Boulevardier magazine. The cocktail then solidified its place in cocktail history in a book called Barflies and Cocktails written by Harry MacElhone, owner of the legendary Harry�s Bar in Paris. Whitebox have made great effort to pay homage to the classic recipe, with a careful balance of the 3 ingredients. And perhaps when you sip the drink it will transport you back to the golden age of cocktails in 1920s Paris.
