Once upon a time, in the Valée des Fées, two brothers in law turned the first page in the story of La Chouffe. On the 27th of August 1982, in a garage in rural Belgium, the very first tiny 49 Litre batch of La Chouffe was brewed.

Very quickly, additional chapters were added to the tale. Chris and Pierre bought the farm and went full time. By 1992 they were producing ten thousand times more than that first little test batch, and eventually a globally renowned brand was born.
